I have a wonderful time finishing this gay fantasy series for teens. While the writer rated this as young adults series there is nothing simple about the plot. Her rating I guess is based on no explicit sex scenes. This is just fine as I want my fantasy to focus more on plot and characters. Her writing is engaging and easy to immersed in and at the end this is a highly entertaining fantasy. In this book 3, Edouard is forced to find a queen for the sake of his kingdom. Since this is a fantasy, I am not surprised that the Queen of White Shores turned up to be a likable character who understands where she stands in this triangular relationship. She gets what she wants and so do the guys!. Court politics prevail in Book 3, resolved by wizardry magics. There are a few surprises and Kieran's identity is a startling revelation. This is the end for now but definitely not from the writer's site which has already started on the 4th book, The Wizard Prince. However the three books are complete as a series by itself. I have really enjoyed this series. I like how Kevin has grown up. this book also introduces New characters. please be sure to read the other two books first.
Just read the series. I stumbled on this author and I am so glad I did. Although probably a young adult series if I can read and enjoy Harry Potter than I can and did enjoy these books. All the ends were tied up all questions answered the two MC never doubted each other which so often happens in romance novels and just drives me crazy. I am going to peruse other books by this author and may find myself purchasing more.
I just love this whole series so much. I really glad to read these stories. I love this series very much. I feel very sad that there is only one more book to this series. I love this author very much.
This addition was very good... Again all characters were awesome ... I did miss Colwyn in this book tho but the story still flowed... The best part of the book was the twist .... Totally had my mouth falling open....Off to book 4

Alright, I finised the final book of this series(I understand the author might write a fourth book in the near future). What can I say? My interest was sustained by old and new charaters, new intrigue, puzzles to figure out and the deepening of a more open relationship between the two male characters.The story was not that far fetched to stretch credibility.The arrangement between the Queen, King and his lover had an element of healthy, realistic, fluidity in human relationships.I appreciated the growth in the characters and the genuine feeling of being part of the friendships and driving forces of human nature. For me, the sign of a good story is the author making an impact with the reader revealing the human condition.Yes, it is a simple story but has the right degree of intensity to leave a lingering impression.
